VMG’s Military Support Team leadership includes Retired Brigadier General, Jonathan McColumn.
Throughout his 31 years of service, Mr. McColumn served in multiple positions as a Logistician and in the Acquisition Corps (Contracting). Being highly educated and trained, he moved up the ranks, excelling at countless assignments, and he was deployed in multiple countries, including: Greece (Exercise Dynamic Mix), Japan (374th Contracting Squadron), Kuwait (408th Contract Support Brigade – OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM), Iraq (Joint Contracting Command Iraq/Afghanistan – OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM), Thailand (Exercise Cobra Gold), the Philippines (Exercise Balikatan), and additional assignments throughout the United States.
Mr. McColumn serves as VMG’s Sr. Military Adviser. He focuses on military acquisition, contract management, policy, and program operations.
Our Military Support leadership team also includes Pamela Cook. Ms. Cook is a multifaceted, client-focused, and business-savvy manager with over 10 years of experience in management consulting and public health services, project roadmaps, cost & progress analysis, stakeholder engagements, and budget tracking for industry-leading organizations.
At VMG, Ms. Cook puts clients first by managing business and technical resources according to their needs. She can quickly and efficiently assess dynamic situations, make recommendations, drive transparency, define project strategy/specifications, and provide ongoing project support.
With a unique background spanning religious services and government project management, Ms. Cook is proficient at balancing competing priorities, inspiring collaboration, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering quality, customer satisfaction-driven results.
